Technique

I preferably work from the photos I take.
Usually a one– or two-hour shooting is needed
to create a trustful relationship and hence gather the necessary material.

I may also work from the photos you would provide me with, without seeing the model.
I advise, in such case, to gather a wide selection (including, when possible, videos).

I use acrylic painting , which has, in my view, the advantage to mix the delicate and luminous rendering of tempera painting and the fluid depth of oil. I enjoy the idea of obtaining the classic rendering of my portraits with contemporary tools.
